Join us for our Day of Prayer - Wednesday 16th May 2018 from 7am – 9pm

The Parish of St Stephen Walbrook & The London Internet Church
Day of Prayer - Wednesday 16th May 2018 from 7am – 9pm

Prayer moves us closer not only to God, but to one another.
Drop in when you can during our Day of Prayer to take a moment to give thanks, to remember and to reflect.

What is happening?

Our Day of Prayer will begin with Morning Prayer and end with Night Prayer. Each hour will begin with prayers read from the lectern, followed by periods for silent contemplation. On the half hour we will read prayer requests left by visitors to church and submitted from around the world through the London Internet Church, which is based at St Stephen Walbrook. Prayer stations in church will offer suggestions of different ways to pray in daily life.

7.30am – Morning Prayer
12.00pm – Midday Prayer
5.30pm – Evening Prayer
8.30pm – Compline

Why is this happening?

Our Day of Prayer is part of “Thy Kingdom Come” - a global wave of prayer which invites Christians around the world to encourage more people to pray between Ascension and Pentecost.

How can I get involved?

Join us at St Stephen Walbrook any time between 7am and 9pm on Wednesday 16th May.
