A homily given at Choral Evensong at Holy Sepulchre London on Wednesday 26th October 2022 based on Romans 15.1-6 and Luke 4.16-24. The service marked the 400th anniversary of the death of the Spanish priest and composer Sebastian de Vivanco. A recording of the service can be found at this link

Start:Stop-Into your hands I commend my spirit

Thank you for joining us for Start:Stop. This reflection will last around ten minutes, followed by a period of silence and prayer. The prayer response is on the sheet which you can pick up on the table at the entrance to the church.  Please come and go as your schedule dictates. We begin with a short bible reading, which can be found on page 95 in the New Testament section of the Bible.

A Future Not Our Own : My last day as Churchwarden!


Today is my last day as Churchwarden of the parish of Christ Church Southgate. It has been a wonderful experience! My time as warden has seen two different Diocesan Bishops, three Suffragan Bishops, two Archdeacons and two parish priests and now it’s time for me to move on!
